More Information That Man is You! is a 26 week interactive, multimedia men's program divided into two 11 week "semesters" that follow the typical academic year. The Fall semester is dedicated to developing a vision of man fully alive while the Spring semester is dedicated to becoming "that man." The Spring semester includes an organized Lenten journey that participants make together. News Bring TMIY to Your Parish This Fall Every September, many new parishes bring That Man is You! men's program to their men. The program initiated in the Fall of 2004 with just two test parishes. This upcoming Fall, TMIY is primed for another rapid expansion throughout the country with close to 200 parishes. The program continues to naturally grow by word of mouth from the participants who are singing it's praises. The starting point to bringing TMIY to your parish is to 1) Receive your Pastor's approval and to 2) Form a Core Team. After those two items are accomplished it is simply a matter of following the steps provided by a TMIY Program Coordinator that will be assigned to your parish. That Man is You! will provide you with all the necessary training and help to assure a successful launch at your parish. This week, Paul George joins us as we wrap up another great year of TMIY! Paul concludes our TMIY “Worthy of the Call” year by inspiring us to embrace the challenges of our lives as men through holy grit, embracing grace from God, and trust in the Lord’s holy will. God is calling us men to join our grittiness and our holiness together, as well as integrate it to every aspect of our lives. Our identity is in Christ, not in our successes or failures. The enemy’s goal is to isolate us in our difficulties. True masculinity requires self reflection, honesty, and a willingness to “grow up” in Christ. Only then can we be fully alive as men!
